Hypercube

A 4-dimensional object is an object entirely made up out of 3-dimensional objects. We cannot fully grasp or even try to understand this concept with our minds because there is nothing like this in our world. Instead, we have to use animations to even slightly try to understand what these odd shapes are.

Kindness

What really moves me in George Saunders's speech is the fact that he wants the class of 2013 to really understand that not everything is about them, and even though it may feel like it, your story isn't the only story being told. There are 7 billion other stories out there and you are just one among them.
In Dustin Hoffman's video about Tootsie, what really got me thinking was the part about how he said that there were so many interesting women that he hasn't met because of the standards society has set on everyone and how just because someone doesn't "look the part", they could be one of the most interesting people in the world. It just goes to show that if you take the time to get to know someone you could really get a better perspective on the individual stories of others and just people in general.
